How is it made?

Each and every clock we make is cut, shaped, sanded, patinated and assembled with care in our Perth, Western Australia studio.

Our aged brass patina is achieved using chemical manipulation, which forces the brass to develop a layer of oxidation to protect itself, also known as patination.

To preserve and protect the patina, we apply a clear lacquer to prevent the clock from further oxidation (ageing).

We then affix a silent, quartz, clock mechanism and test your clock over a 24 hour period before it is wrapped up and shipped to your home. †

At the time of placing your order, please advise where on the clock you would like the engraving; if no location is specified, your engraving will be placed horizontally at the 3 o’clock mark.
